Try this: reusable rags that last a whole week

What mistress does not dream that cleaning in the house, and especially in the kitchen, is easy and convenient? Each of us is looking for means and opportunities for this. Hardware stores are constantly expanding the range of products for these purposes - from detergents to all kinds of sponges, brushes, rags, napkins, towels ... Among them are viscose and polyester rags, which are worth paying attention to.

Component Properties

Napkins made of viscose and polyester combine the beneficial properties of both materials, while leveling their shortcomings.

Viscose (cellulose processing product):

  • strong;
  • absorbs moisture well due to high porosity;
  • during cleaning, does not leave scruffy villi on the surface, such as cotton rags;
  • not electrified;
  • almost no deformation.

But at the same time, viscose is very unstable in the wet state, as well as when exposed to high temperatures (when cleaning, washing or drying). Among other things, viscose can leave streaks when cleaning heavily soiled surfaces.

Hence the relatively long cleaning process (you have to wipe the same place several times), as well as a very short service life. Even with a one-time drying on a battery or an attempt to remove a rag in hot water, the fibers are destroyed.

Polyester (it is obtained by complex processing of petroleum products):

  • has properties similar to cotton fibers, but more durable;
  • It attracts and absorbs pollution well due to its electrostatic properties, therefore it makes it possible to avoid stains;
  • it is also afraid of high temperatures, but during operation it is possible to do without them: the material is very easily washed even in cool or warm water;
  • dries quickly, almost crushing;
  • to the touch reminds wool.

When choosing such rags in the store, pay attention to the absence of a characteristic unpleasant chemical smell. He talks about the poor quality of the feedstock (polyester production technologies were clearly violated in the direction of economy). Therefore, in this case, you will save, most likely, only on your health. This is especially true for asthmatics and allergy sufferers.

Complementary Duo

So, when mixing in one fabric viscose fibers with polyester at the output, a material is obtained that has much more suitable characteristics:

  • Such rags easily absorb moisture, while being just as easily wrung out.
  • Remove dirt without leaving streaks.
  • Do not accumulate static electricity.
  • They have a pleasant velvety structure.
  • Ideal for wet or dry cleaning, as well as for polishing furniture.

Thanks to such excellent properties, they are useful for cleaning any room, kitchen, summer house, office, even the passenger compartment.

In addition, unlike cheaper analogues, such napkins can be washed and reused up to seven times! That is, your bin will also fill up more slowly.

Buy viscose and polyester rags in rolls. Firstly, it will be cheaper, and secondly, a roll of seventy napkins during storage takes much less space than the same 70 units folded separately.

Cleaning is troublesome. The mere choice of consumables today can be confusing, especially when you need to make a reasonable choice between the quality, composition, price and practicality of materials. Try viscose with polyester - this is a worthy compromise!
